Registration deadline
10 days before Election Day (postmarked 25 days before or received 20 days before).
Early voting
9 days of in-person early voting beginning 10 days before Election Day through 2 days before.
Absentee / mail-in
Online/mail application must be received 15 days before Election Day. Ballot must be postmarked by Election Day and received within 7 days.
ID requirements
Generally no ID required for already-registered voters. First-time voters who registered by mail may need to show ID.
Election Day hours
Polls open 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM Eastern Time. If you are in line at 9:00 PM, you can vote.
