Early voting
Early voting period and locations vary by county. Most counties offer at least some in-person early voting.
Absentee / mail-in
Request by 11 days before Election Day. Ballot must be received by 8:00 PM Election Day.
ID requirements
Photo ID required at the polls (Idaho DL/ID, US passport, tribal ID, or current student photo ID). If no ID, you may sign a Personal Identification Affidavit.
Election Day hours
Polls open 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM local time. If you are in line at 8:00 PM, you can vote.
